  • Although the courses do not lead to academic qualifications, our aim, nevertheless, is to maintain a high level of integrity and achievement whilst providing enjoyable experiences within a friendly atmosphere. Whether you are a beginner or have some expertise in any of the range of courses on offer, we are keen to encourage your personal development and fulfilment.
  • We hope to open up opportunities, develop skills, build confidence, help you make new friends, whilst also providing the chance for those who wish to pursue their work more individually to find time and space to do so.

  • We like to host the occasional Master Classes, too, with visiting artists and lecturers to help deepen knowledge and broaden the outlook.

  • An appreciation of culture and heritage, with lectures on and visits to sites of particular interest and relevance, is a major part of our remit, as well as the monthly lectures in Beverley and York, which this year take the theme of Tales of the Unexpected as their inspiration. - Rose and Robin Horspool
  • STUDENT COMMENTS:

  • 'We knew it would be good but we didn't know it would be this good.’ - J.W. Barton.
