David’s work is subtle and sensitive and he wants to share his expertise with you, so that as a beginner you can gain skills and techniques, from advice about brushes and papers to how to create those elusive, haunting effects. A two day course, the second date to be agreed with the group.

Tutor: Stef Mitchell 22/03/09: GA Day of Experimentation
A materials and experimental workshop, investigating processes rather than producing a finished piece. A great chance to work with Stef whose work is also on a journey, where response and direction have come from the media being used and the energy and physical act of painting.
Tutor: Robin Horspool 10/05/09: Fun with the Figure
Enjoy the morning working direct from the male human form, then after lunch, developing one or more of the images into a new and interpretive design in a range of media.
