WEDNESDAY ART COURSES AT NORTH DALTON
Basic materials are provided, but students are encouraged to work with their own, for which advice can be given.All courses also include refreshments and delicious home baked scones/biscuits.

Autumn Dates 24/09/08 – 17/12/08: Art Techniques - Light and Shade
Create mood and atmosphere through learning techniques with highlights and shadows in a range of media.
Cost: per 10 week course: £120
Spring Dates 21/01/09 – 08/04/09: Art Techniques - Colour and Texture
How to develop richness or subtlety using the techniques learned to enrich your own natural style.
Cost: per 10 week course: £120
Summer Dates 29/04/09 – 03/06/09: Art Techniques - Abstraction
Interpreting starting points from observed beginnings to create images that reflect the essence of the subject; also looking at key artists who have achieved this.
Cost for 5 week course: £60
Optional extra visit to Leeds Art Gallery, to be arrangedWednesdays: 1.30pm to 4pm

An ideal course for those who want to work at their own speed and on their own work, but with tutor input and encouragement. Bring your own work and materials for this course.
